The material product protection business unit (MPP) of Bayer Chemicals AG, which will soon be part of the newly-formed, global chemical company Lanxess, has established additional microbiology laboratories in all of its key regions to provide efficient customer testing services. Both standard and regionally specific applications testing are conducted on biocides at these laboratories. The network of labs includes the technical competence center for global activities in Krefeld-Uerdingen, Germany and regional labs in Yuki City, Japan for Asia, Sao Paulo, Brazil for Latin America and Pittsburgh, PA for North America.
